Born May 3, 1955, Sasaji began his musical career in junior high playing the guitar. Like Andy Sturmer
he developed an early appreciation for jazz. He lists his other musical influences
as the Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Miles Davis and Maurice Ravel.
Sasaji would take over from Tamio Okuda to produce Puffy's
Fever Fever in
1999.
Sasaji's long career has garnered him a huge listing of musical credits. Of note is
his 2002 release of "Heart Music - Sasaji Masanori Produce Works."
